• Fundraising and Crowdfunding: Nowadays with internet access there is the possibility of crowdfunding and other fundraising endeavours available to you.
• Libraries: Knowing that many libraries have been closed or merged in some areas might mean checking where and when your local one is open, but, they are full of information. They should be able to help with finding your local Round Table, Rotary Club, Lions Club or similar. The organisations are fundraising constantly and donate to individuals and their local area so it might be worth trying them for assistance with purchasing a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
• Benefits: Make sure that you are in receipt of all the benefits and government financial support that you are entitled to. Some charities/disability groups have advisors that can help but also Citizens Advice are also really good. Finance companies will also take into account benefits that you are receiving if you pursue a finance application.
